Today, you will explore Quito’s historic center, one of the best-preserved colonial districts in South America.

The guided tour includes Plaza Grande, important government and religious buildings, the richly decorated Church of La Compañía de Jesús and panoramic views from El Panecillo.

Along the way, your guide will explain the city’s Indigenous, Spanish colonial and republican history.

Travel north of Quito to visit the famous Middle of the World complex, located near the equatorial line.

You will see the iconic monument, explore interactive museums and learn about geography, astronomy and the cultures of Ecuador.

There will also be opportunities to participate in demonstrations associated with the equator and take memorable photographs between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

Depart from Quito for an excursion to Cotopaxi National Park, home to one of the most recognizable volcanoes in Ecuador.

Explore the high-altitude páramo, admire volcanic landscapes and visit Limpiopungo Lagoon. Depending on weather conditions and park regulations, the excursion may include a walk toward the volcano’s lower refuge area.

Return to your accommodation after the visit.

Travel to Baños de Agua Santa, a mountain town known for its waterfalls, adventure activities and lush landscapes.

Explore the famous Waterfall Route and visit viewpoints overlooking some of the region’s most impressive cascades.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the Swing at the End of the World, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Leave the Andes and travel toward the Ecuadorian Amazon. Upon arrival, you will continue to your jungle lodge and receive an introduction to the surrounding rainforest.

After settling in, your guide will explain the activities planned for your stay.

In the evening, join a guided night walk to search for frogs, insects, spiders and other nocturnal wildlife.

Begin the day with a guided excursion through the rainforest or along a nearby river.

Depending on local conditions, activities may include canoe navigation, forest walks, wildlife observation and visits to areas rich in tropical birds and monkeys.

You will also learn about the traditions, medicinal plants and daily life of a local Indigenous community.

Travel to Cuenca, one of Ecuador’s most beautiful colonial cities.

Explore its historic center, traditional plazas, churches and streets before visiting Cajas National Park, known for its high-altitude lagoons, grasslands and unique Andean ecosystems.

Spend the night in Cuenca.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima, the capital of Peru.

After arrival and hotel check-in, enjoy a tour of Miraflores and Barranco. Visit coastal viewpoints, parks and some of Lima’s most attractive modern and bohemian neighborhoods.

The evening will be free to explore the city or enjoy Peruvian cuisine.

Depart early for Paracas and board a boat to the Ballestas Islands.

During the excursion, you may observe sea lions, seabirds, penguins and other marine wildlife.

Continue to Huacachina, a natural oasis surrounded by enormous sand dunes. Enjoy an exciting dune buggy experience and optional sandboarding before continuing the journey.

Explore Arequipa, known as the White City because of its distinctive volcanic-stone architecture.

Visit the historic center, Plaza de Armas and the impressive Santa Catalina Monastery, a large religious complex filled with courtyards, narrow streets and colorful walls.

You will also enjoy views of the volcanoes surrounding the city.

Travel through spectacular high-altitude landscapes toward Colca Canyon.

Visit traditional Andean villages and continue to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, one of the best places to observe Andean condors flying above the canyon.

After the excursion, continue according to the scheduled route and accommodation arrangements.

Travel across the Peruvian Altiplano toward Puno, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

Along the way, enjoy views of mountains, wetlands, traditional communities and herds of llamas and alpacas.

Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the remainder of the day resting.

Board a boat for a full-day excursion across Lake Titicaca.

First, visit the floating islands of Uros, constructed from layers of totora reeds. Learn how local families maintain their islands and preserve their traditional lifestyle.

Continue to Taquile Island, known for its community traditions, agricultural terraces and high-quality textiles.

Travel from Puno to Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire.

Travel through the Sacred Valley and visit Pisac, known for its archaeological terraces and traditional market.

Continue through the valley to Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved living Inca towns in Peru.

Explore the archaeological complex and learn about the strategic and ceremonial importance of the area.

Travel by train through the Urubamba Valley toward the Machu Picchu area.

After arrival, continue to the famous Inca citadel for a guided tour. Discover its temples, agricultural terraces, ceremonial sectors and remarkable stone architecture.

After the visit, return by train and continue to your hotel according to the program.

Depart early for an excursion to Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca.

After breakfast along the route, begin the high-altitude hike through spectacular Andean landscapes.

Upon reaching the viewpoint, admire the mountain’s naturally colored mineral formations and views of the surrounding peaks. Return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Enjoy a free day to relax, shop for local crafts or explore Cusco independently.

Depart Peru and travel toward La Paz, Bolivia.

The overland journey crosses high-altitude landscapes and includes border procedures between the two countries.

Upon arrival in La Paz, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Explore one of the world’s most visually impressive high-altitude cities.

Visit important plazas, local markets and historic neighborhoods. Ride the cable-car system for panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.

The tour also includes the Valley of the Moon, known for its unusual rock formations.

Travel outside La Paz to Tiwanaku, one of the most important pre-Inca archaeological sites in Bolivia.

Explore ceremonial structures, monoliths and the famous Gateway of the Sun while learning about the civilization that developed in the Lake Titicaca region.

Return to La Paz after the guided visit.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Sucre, Bolivia’s constitutional capital.

Explore the historic center, known for its white colonial buildings, churches and elegant plazas.

Your guide will introduce you to the city’s architecture, history and cultural importance.

Travel to Potosí, a historic mining city located beneath Cerro Rico.

Learn about the city’s colonial history and the role that silver mining played in the development of the Spanish Empire.

A guided mine visit may be included, subject to local conditions and the traveler’s personal comfort and health.

Travel to Uyuni and begin the salt flats expedition.

The first stop will be the famous Train Cemetery, where abandoned locomotives remain in the desert landscape.

Continue toward local salt-processing communities and the immense white surface of the Salar de Uyuni.

Explore the extraordinary Uyuni Salt Flats, one of South America’s most surreal natural attractions.

During the dry season, the salt forms vast geometric patterns. During the rainy season, parts of the surface may become a giant natural mirror.

Visit Incahuasi Island, known for its giant cacti and panoramic views across the salt flats.

Continue across the Bolivian Altiplano through landscapes of volcanoes, deserts and colorful lakes.

One of the main attractions will be Laguna Colorada, famous for its reddish water, mineral deposits and surrounding volcanic scenery.

Begin the day early with a visit to the Sol de Mañana geothermal area.

Spend the night in Copacabana.

Board a boat for an excursion to Isla del Sol, an island considered sacred in Inca mythology.

Explore archaeological remains, traditional communities and walking paths overlooking the deep-blue waters of Lake Titicaca.

Return to Copacabana after the excursion.

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Copacabana before beginning the return journey to La Paz.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day will be free to prepare for your departure or enjoy a final dinner in Bolivia.
