Begin your journey in Lima, Peru’s cultural and gastronomic capital, where you will explore the historic center, colonial monuments and the impressive Magic Water Circuit. Continue to Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, and discover its temples, archaeological sites and traditional streets.

Travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visit Pisac and Ollantaytambo, and enjoy a panoramic train journey to Aguas Calientes. The experience continues with a private guided tour of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Day 01 Arrival in Lima

Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our representative will welcome you and provide a private transfer to your hotel in Miraflores.

After checking in, the rest of the day will be free to relax or explore the surrounding area at your own pace. Miraflores is one of Lima’s most attractive districts, known for its parks, restaurants, shops and views of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 02 Lima City Tour and Magic Water Circuit

After breakfast, you will begin a guided tour of Peru’s capital.

Huaca Pucllana

The tour begins with a panoramic visit to Huaca Pucllana, an impressive pre-Inca ceremonial complex located in the heart of Miraflores.

Your guide will explain the history of the Lima culture and the contrast between this ancient adobe structure and the modern city surrounding it.

Historic Center of Lima

We will continue to the UNESCO-listed Historic Center of Lima.

Visit Plaza Mayor and admire some of the city’s most important colonial buildings, including the Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and the Municipal Palace.

Depending on opening hours, the itinerary may also include the Central Reserve Bank Museum or another cultural attraction in the historic district.

San Francisco Convent and Catacombs

Explore the San Francisco Convent, famous for its colonial architecture, historic library, religious art and underground catacombs.

Your guide will explain the history of this religious complex and its role during Lima’s colonial period.

Magic Water Circuit

In the evening, visit the Magic Water Circuit, one of Lima’s most popular nighttime attractions.

Enjoy illuminated fountains, synchronized music, colorful projections and interactive water displays before returning to your hotel.

Day 03 Flight from Lima to Cusco

At the scheduled time, you will receive a private transfer from your hotel to Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco.

Upon arrival at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

The remainder of the day will be free for rest and acclimatization. Cusco is located at approximately 3,350 meters above sea level, so we recommend walking slowly, drinking water and avoiding strenuous activity.

Day 04 Cusco City Tour

Enjoy a guided tour of Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire.

Plaza de Armas and Cusco Cathedral

Explore the historic center and visit Cusco Cathedral, where you can admire colonial architecture, carved altars and artwork from the famous Cusco School.

Qorikancha

Continue to Qorikancha, the ancient Inca Temple of the Sun. Observe the remarkable Inca stonework and the colonial Santo Domingo Convent built above its foundations.

Sacsayhuamán

Travel outside the city to Sacsayhuamán, an impressive ceremonial complex known for its enormous stone walls and panoramic views of Cusco.

Q’enqo

Visit Q’enqo, a ceremonial site featuring carved rocks, underground chambers and ritual spaces.

Puca Pucara

Continue to Puca Pucara, believed to have served as an Inca military and administrative checkpoint.

Tambomachay

The final visit will be Tambomachay, known as the Temple of Water because of its stone channels and ceremonial fountains.

After the tour, return to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 05 Sacred Valley and Train to Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, we will begin the journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Pisac

Visit the archaeological complex of Pisac, known for its agricultural terraces, ceremonial sectors and panoramic views of the valley.

Depending on the program, you may also have time to visit the traditional Pisac market.

Urubamba

Continue to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring a selection of Peruvian and regional dishes.

Ollantaytambo

Explore Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved living Inca towns in Peru.

Visit its archaeological complex, monumental terraces, temples and impressive stone structures while learning about its strategic importance during the Inca period.

Train to Aguas Calientes

At the scheduled time, board the Expedition-class train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes.

The journey follows the Vilcanota River through mountain valleys and lush cloud-forest landscapes.

Upon arrival, our representative will assist you with your hotel check-in.

Day 06 Machu Picchu and Return to Cusco

After breakfast, your private guide will meet you at the hotel.

You will walk to the bus station and travel approximately 25 to 30 minutes to the entrance of the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary.

Private Guided Tour of Machu Picchu

Explore Machu Picchu according to the visitor circuit assigned to your entrance ticket.

Your guide will explain the history, architecture and cultural significance of the archaeological sectors included in your route. Depending on the confirmed circuit, the visit may include agricultural terraces, ceremonial plazas, residential sectors, temples, water fountains and panoramic viewpoints.

After the guided tour, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes. You will have free time to purchase lunch before boarding the return train.

Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, tourist transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 07 Maras and Moray Tour

Today, you will explore two of the most fascinating attractions near the Sacred Valley.

Moray

Visit Moray, an extraordinary archaeological site formed by circular terraces descending into the earth.

These terraces are believed to have functioned as an Inca agricultural experimentation center, where different microclimates were used to adapt and study crops.

Maras Salt Mines

Continue to the Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of small salt ponds cover the mountainside.

Local families still extract salt using traditional methods passed down through generations. Your guide will explain how mineral-rich water flows into the ponds and evaporates naturally under the sun.

After the tour, return to Cusco and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 08 Rainbow Mountain

The excursion begins early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco.

Travel to Cusipata, where you will enjoy breakfast before continuing toward the starting point of the hike.

Hike to Rainbow Mountain

Begin the high-altitude trek toward Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca.

The trail crosses remote Andean landscapes inhabited by llamas, alpacas and traditional communities. Because the route reaches approximately 5,020 meters above sea level, you should walk slowly and take regular breaks.

Upon reaching the viewpoint, admire the mountain’s naturally colored mineral layers and the surrounding snow-capped peaks.

After taking photographs and enjoying the landscape, return to the vehicle and travel to Cusipata for lunch.

Arrival in Cusco is expected during the late afternoon or early evening.

Day 09 Route of the Sun: Cusco to Puno

After breakfast, transfer to the tourist bus station for the journey from Cusco to Puno.

This scenic route includes guided visits to several cultural and archaeological attractions.

Andahuaylillas

Visit the Church of San Pedro Apóstol in Andahuaylillas, commonly known as the “Sistine Chapel of America” because of its elaborate murals and colonial decoration.

Raqchi

Explore the archaeological complex of Raqchi, home to the impressive Temple of Wiracocha and other Inca structures.

Buffet Lunch

Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant along the route.

La Raya

Stop at La Raya, the highest point of the journey between Cusco and Puno. From here, you can admire panoramic views of the Andes and surrounding high-altitude landscapes.

Pukará Museum

Visit the Pukará Museum and learn about one of the most important pre-Inca cultures of the southern Peruvian Altiplano.

Upon arrival in Puno, our representative will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 10 Lake Titicaca: Uros and Taquile Islands

After breakfast, transfer to the port and board a boat for a full-day excursion on Lake Titicaca.

Uros Floating Islands

Visit the floating islands of Uros, constructed from layers of totora reeds.

Local families will explain how the islands are built and maintained, as well as how reeds are used to create houses, boats and handicrafts.

Taquile Island

Continue to Taquile Island, known for its agricultural terraces, traditional textiles and strong community organization.

Enjoy a guided walk across the island and learn about local customs, weaving techniques and daily life.

A typical lunch will be served at a community restaurant before returning by boat to Puno.

Day 11 Transfer to Juliaca Airport
